Why Wildjoy?
It was actually during the summer of 2018 when I went to Yosemite National Park on a weekend trip during my full-time internship at Siemens. I can’t even express to you guys the level of SORROW I was experiencing on a daily basis. Couldn’t get rid of my anxiety and the depression was winning. As a last chance to happiness, I decided to make a day trip to Yosemite National Park with three of my work friends. We did this waterfall hike and I will never forget this moment standing under the mist from this huge waterfall.
I realized that my life was worth living. I realized that I could be a lot happier if I made adventures a more regular thing.
After this summer, I moved back to Tucson for my Senior Year at the University of Arizona and decided that I wanted to build a company that encouraged people to get outside, get out of their heads, and just experience genuine WILDJOY for a second.
I found my purpose in this.
